FRIGGIN' FORTY is a snowboard short film, filmed in Japan and Whistler, BC, that we never actually planned on making. It started with a week in Japan, joining Rusty Ockenden and the Megafauna crew, followed by a couple of weeks filming back home in Whistler. Before we knew it, we'd stacked enough clips to put together a little snowboard movie. Rusty and I grew up snowboarding together, and last winter we both turned 40. Pretty funny that we're still out in the mountains chasing clips after all these years. The only difference is now he's the one behind the lens. Not bad for a couple of friggin' forty-year-olds.
