The ShaperSummit 2024 went off again at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort last spring, bringing together the best brands and boards to be tested by JH locals, pros, industry veterans and the shapers and builders themselves.   

Our purpose remains the same for the event as it was when I started it eleven years ago, to test and find the best new boards on the planet.  The ShaperSummit brings together truly handcrafted snowboard brands and the big manufacturers alike together to find out which boards truly rip.

Jackson Hole is the perfect snowboard testing ground, offering every type of terrain possible to put the boards through their paces and allow the testers to find their perfect boards for them.  The coveted Rated Radical title is only given to the boards that truly excel under the testers feet.

The event is set up so the shapers and designers can truly come together under the banner of innovating snowboard design, with a format set up less focused on sales and more on inspiring each other to build better boards by getting direct feedback from those that really know how to optimize a shape.  Added value to the participants are the friendships made riding together, with everyone hyper-focused on what really makes the boards tick, sharing how they feel about a certain sidecut or flex, often with the person who actually designed the board.
