The Uninvited Euro Open 2025: Progression, Podiums & a Path to the U.S.
The Uninvited Euro Open returned for its second year, stepping up from a qualifier to a full open competition—and the riders did not disappoint. Hosted at Penken Park, the event brought together 59 snowboarders from across Europe and Scandinavia for a weekend of next-level women’s streetstyle riding. With a €10,000 prize purse and spots at The Uninvited Invitational in the U.S. on the line, the stakes were high, and the riding was even higher.
Founder Jess Kimura highlighted the event’s evolution: “The riding level keeps pushing forward. We uncovered more hidden gems who are now heading to the U.S. to compete on the global stage.”
Podium Finishers
Emma Lacarrère (France) – Claimed the top spot with huge tricks and smooth style.
Marie Kuhlman (Germany) – At just 14, her technical riding impressed the judges.
Sophia Schroll (Austria) – A crowd favorite whose consistency secured her a podium finish.
Standout Awards
Best Trick: Maija Hokkanen (Finland) – Frontside creeper transfer backboard.
The Heart Award: Anna Lindsdottir – Recognized for her determination and spirit.
Best Slam: Zoi Roffi – Took some heavy hits but showcased fearless riding.

Despite a low-snow season, Penken Park provided an incredible setup, and more than half of the competitors were fresh faces—proof that the next generation of female streetstyle riders is stronger than ever. The weekend wrapped up with The Uninvited Community Ride Day, where riders of all levels joined Jess and Paula Benito for a day of fun, progression, and free board demos from CAPiTA and Union Binding Co.
With the Euro Open in the books, the top three finishers are now set to compete at The Uninvited Invitational in the U.S. for a $60,000 prize purse and a chance to showcase their talent on a global stage.
