On Friday August 19th 2022, Tommy Gesme battled Luke Winkelmann in the head to head elimination of the first round of the 2022 Game Of Big SNOW presented by Dakine at Big Snow American Dream in East Rutherford, NJ. As a world class Slopestyle competitor Luke Winkelman has contest "game" yet Tommy Gesme is a superstar of the streets. The two styles proved a compelling pairing yet the park rail setup put the advantage to Winkelman. Tommy set tricks like switch front blunts on the dfd but Winkelman successfully defended each time. Tommy would ultimately succumb to Winkelman after the North Carolina native threw down tricks like switch backside boardslipe pretzels on the down flat down. Luke Winkelman advances to face Alex Caccamo in the quarterfinals of the 2022 Game Of Big SNOW presented by Dakine.
