Semifinals:
10 women + 10 men
20-minute organized session
Riders drop one at a time

Finals:
Top 5 women + Top 5 men advance
15-minute organized session
Riders drop one at a time

At the end of finals, the podium is set—plus two bonus awards: The North Face – Best Trick & Nixon – Best Time

Day two starts with the Men’s Video Qualifier Series showdown. Over 100 video parts were submitted—only ten riders earned the invite to battle it out onsite. The top four advance to the men’s semi-final, joining a stacked field of invited riders.

Semifinals

Both the women’s and men’s semifinals feature a mix of invited riders and Video Qualifier Series (VQS) standouts.

Women: 16 total riders
Includes 4 riders invited directly from the digital VQS

Men: 24 total riders
Includes 4 riders advancing from the 10-person onsite VQS qualifier in Breckenridge

Each rider gets three (3) top-to-bottom runs down the course.

The fields are split into heats:

Men: two heats of 12
Women: two heats of 8

Once all riders have dropped and been ranked, only the top 8 women and top 8 men move on to Sunday’s finals.

Finals Format (Head-to-Head Chaos)

Finals flip the script with a three-round, head-to-head battle format.

Round 1

Eight riders enter four matchups:
- 8th vs 1st
- 7th vs 2nd
- 6th vs 3rd
- 5th vs 4th

Each rider gets two runs.
The twist: second-run scores stay hidden until both riders finish.
Winners move on.

Round 2
- Winner of Match A vs Winner of Match B
- Winner of Match C vs Winner of Match D

Same deal: two runs each, second scores held.
Winners advance to the final.

The highest-scoring rider who doesn’t advance in this round is locked in as 3rd place overall.

Final Round
The last two standing go head-to-head.
Two runs each.
Second scores held.
Winner takes it.
